Pay: $120,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year Experience: * PACS: 2 years (Required) License/Certification: * CompTIA Security+ (Required) ## Description The Clinical Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) Administrator provides dedicated onsite and remote PACS administration support for the Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton (NHCP) Radiology Department and its outlying clinics. The role supports a mission-critical, hub-and-spoke imaging environment connected with Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD), ensuring medical images remain accessible, secure, and available 24/7 to support patient care. The PACS Administrator is responsible for comprehensive PACS system management, maintenance, optimization, user support, issue resolution, analytical reporting, vendor coordination, and collaboration with the hub site during routine operations and agency-wide PACS upgrade activities. The successful candidate must be PACS-agnostic and able to work effectively across vendor platforms, DICOM viewers, image distribution systems, archives, routing devices, and related accessories, including transition support between existing and new PACS environments.
