Fluent in code and hands-on when it counts, you'll translate business workflows, integration needs, and ambiguous operating problems into clear specs and practical systems. You will connect cloud services, internal tools, APIs, Salesforce data flows, and user-facing experiences. Reporting to the Managing Director, Software Engineering you'll partner with Product, Operations, Data Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, and IT Operations to move ideas from prototype to reliable production. What You'll Do * Create integration designs across AWS, Salesforce, Snowflake, and third-party platforms, turning business requirements into specs clear enough for anyone on the team, yourself, or AI agents to build against. * Identify workflow automation opportunities, scope solutions, and direct their end-to-end implementation, including prompt-driven and agent-assisted approaches where appropriate. * Define UX and functional requirements for internal tools and operational dashboards, and review delivered work against design standards, accessibility, and reliability expectations. * Design event-driven solutions using AWS primitives (EventBridge, SQS/SNS, Lambda, ECS/Fargate, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, CDK) and hold the team accountable to the design. * Partner with stakeholders to map end-to-end processes, turn ambiguous problems into clear technical specs, and define acceptance criteria before implementation begins. * Set quality standards for agent-generated and peer output through code review, testing oversight, and production readiness gates. You are accountable for what ships, not just what you write. ## Related Videos - [Watch Tests Go Brrrr! : Getting Started with Cypress in ReactJS](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/282-watch-tests-go-brrrr-getting-started-with-cypress-in-reactjs) - [GraphQL + Apollo + Next.js: A Lovely Trio](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/311-graphql-apollo-next-js-a-lovely-trio) - [WeAreDevelopers LIVE - CSS is DOOMed](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1838-wearedevelopers-live-css-is-doomed) - [Inside Bitpanda's Tech Stack: Scaling a European Fintech Leader - Markus Dorner](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1979-inside-bitpanda-s-tech-stack-scaling-a-european-fintech-leader-markus-dorner) - [Next Level Enterprise Architecture: Modular, Flexible, Scalable, Multichannel and AI-Ready?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1017-next-level-enterprise-architecture-modular-flexible-scalable-multichannel-and-ai-ready) - [From Zero to Hero: NextJS 13 and Tailwind CSS for Beginners](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/766-from-zero-to-hero-nextjs-13-and-tailwind-css-for-beginners) ## Related Articles - [Highest Paying Tech Companies for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/220-highest-paying-tech-companies-for-developers) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [The Best X (Twitter) Accounts for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/294-the-best-x-twitter-accounts-for-developers) - [Navigating the AI Shift](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/629-navigating-the-ai-shift) - [Why Upskilling And Reskilling is Important For Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/428-why-upskilling-and-reskilling-is-important-for-developers) - [Fully Remote Software Engineer Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/447-fully-remote-software-engineer-jobs)
