## About the Role

* At least eight years of experience as a UX designer on product teams in a professional environment
 * Experience designing solutions within complex service environments
 * Proficient in UX/UI prototyping tools (preferably Figma).
 * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
 * Experience working in agile development environments
 * Knowledge of Web Accessibility Standards and (preferably Section 508 experience)
 * Ability to work independently and produce excellent results despite technical limitations and time constraints
 * A portfolio to showcase a sharp eye for detail, robust design process, and visual aesthetics.
 * Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
 * Candidates must have lived in the United States 3 out of the past 5 years

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

 * Experience in government, healthcare and/or insurance domains
 * Familiarity with Pega design systems
 * Experience with CMS Marketplace eligibility and appeal processing
 * Experience with contact center operations
 * Experience with case management workflows, * Bachelor's Degree or Higher

## Description

* Create intuitive user experiences by transforming concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
 * Facilitate digital product development through research, conception, ideation, prototyping, and supporting user testing of digital product experiences.
 * Identify design problems and devise user-centric solutions.
 * Present designs to stakeholders and non-technical audiences. Advocate for the user and human-centered design methods among clients and internal teams.
 * Collaborate with UX researchers, product leads, engineers, scrum master's and program stakeholders to create and implement a shared product vision.
 * Ask intelligent inquiries, take calculated risks, and champion innovative concepts.
 * Implement the U.S. Digital Service Playbook and U.S. Web Design Standards' guiding principles.
