## About the Role

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience

· DoD Top Secret Clearance

· 4+ years of experience with Python

· Experience in ELK stack

· Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools

· 3+ years of relevant experience on an Agile software development team

· Experience building, testing and deploying software

· Experience with Git in a team environment

· Desire and interest to learn and grow outside core job requirements

· US Citizenship

Preferred qualifications:

· DoD Top Secret SCI Clearance

· Experience with large data set analysis

· Experience building and shipping products

· Experience with Helm chart deployments

· Experience working with Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approaches and best practices, such as Extreme Programming (XP)

· Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed, * Bachelor's (Required), * Modeling and simulation: 1 year (Preferred)

 * Data science: 2 years (Required)
 * Python: 2 years (Preferred)

## Description

Intrinsic is looking for a skilled and self-motivated Data Engineer to join a highly talented development team working on modern simulation platforms for the Aerospace industry. You will be an integral team member generating and visualizing large data sets. Our product team works closely with end users who are tasked to make the right decision under unique and dynamic conditions. Our analytical tools need to enable that effective decision making. This is a significant opportunity to work closely with assembled experts on a dedicated and talented team. As a team member, you will:

· Formulate data insights from realistic simulation environments emulating real world systems and platforms

· Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand desired simulation and production system requirements and metrics

· Develop visualizations that rapidly communicate key metrics intuitively from large, heterogenous data sets and formats

· Verify accuracy of simulation models and scenarios
