Join us as a Technology Transfer Project Manager to shape the future of innovation by managing impactful projects that drive operational excellence! ## Description We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Technology Transfer Project Manager to lead complex technology transfer initiatives across various departments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive innovation, streamline processes, and ensure seamless transition of technologies from development to deployment. As a key leader, you will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project portfolios, and implement best practices in project management methodologies to deliver impactful results. Your energetic approach and expertise will empower teams to achieve operational excellence and foster continuous improvement., * Assist with Developing Agreements for Research -Create and draft agreements between CDC and private sector or research institutions. With guidance, review, interpret, recommend, and negotiate agreement terms and conditions and interprets established policies, procedures, and standard practices to develop proactive plans and ensure that agreement activities achieve desired objectives and timetables. Work with licensing and marketing specialists on post negotiation activities pertaining to license agreements; catalogues and updates license agreements to ensure appropriate data storage and retrieval. * Monitor and Track Agreements - Track and monitor agreements to determine whether parties have met the milestones and benchmarks of the agreement and update OTI leadership. Manage agreements to ensure that parties are meeting the terms of the agreement (compliance). Review and coordinate with the parties to ensure that the technology is being developed in accordance with their commercial development plan and identify problems and seek solutions. * Data Input, Reporting, and Quality Assurance - Input data into database(s) to ensure it contains up to date information on all agreements, legal documents, transactions, enquiries, actions, and follow-up activities. Generate statistical reports from office database including reports for royalties received, agreements executed, etc. Perform examination of agreements to ensure the correct terms are in database(s) and that relevant data (i.e., royalty income, etc.) are associated correctly. Maintains, analyzes, updates, and develops various electronic and hard copy records through established Company systems and applications, such as TechTracs. Search for and assemble agreement information and records to respond to inquiries (i.e., FOIA, etc.). * Liaise with CDC Centers, Institutes or Offices - Assist National Centers, Divisions and Laboratory staff in the development and processing of requests for assistance with agreements or other office-related activities. Help staff interpret policies, rules and regulations related to the implementation of the Federal Technology Transfer Act of 1986 as related to CDC technologies. * Decision Support - Review and modify policies and office Standard Operating Procedures. Provide information when the requested information concerns routine and procedural requirements. Advise interested parties on CDC and HHS policies and procedures. Provide information and guidance to conduct CDC business and expedite decisions by internal and external partners. * Communication and Marketing - Communicate and respond to inquiries from within and outside of CDC. Provide subject matter expertise to external parties and internal representatives during pre-and post-negotiation process. Plan and attend tradeshows, and conferences. The contractor shall actively market CDC technologies and expertise to external partners. * Administrative and Business Services - Process, maintain, and track Federal Register Notices. Provide administrative services on a variety of legal correspondences for dissemination to agreement parties, outside counsel and potential clients (i.e., Power of Attorney, Terminal Disclaimers, etc.). * Support Invention Reporting and Patent Process - Process, maintain, and track Patents.
