## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or combination of education and relevant experience
 * A minimum of 10 years experience in low-voltage system design
 * RCDD (Registered Communication Distribution Designer) certification
 * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
 * Familiarity with MS Project, MS Visio, Autodesk, SpecsIntact
 * An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

## Description

* Design and specify low voltage technology systems including but not limited to technology systems with structured cabling, outside plant and fiber optic systems
 * Understand medical technology systems design such as nurse call, patient EETV, physiological monitoring, EMS radio and distributed antenna systems
 * Take responsibility for complete set of construction documents
 * Recognize that assignments have objectives that require investigation of many variables
 * Independently perform low voltage technology/electrical engineering assignments with broad general instruction from Project Manager as to the results expected
 * Select and recommend procedures, security devices and equipment, write specifications covering all low voltage technology system matters, perform reviews, and work directly with owners as a part of project team
 * Assist other Designers, Project Coordinators or Technicians as needed, and be responsible for work in all phases of low voltage technology design process
 * Conduct QA/QC on work of other Project Coordinators or Technicians as needed
 * Perform other duties as needed
