## About the Role

Our busy urology practice is seeking a dependable, experienced IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance on an as-needed basis. We are looking for someone who can respond quickly when issues arise and help keep our providers and staff working efficiently., * Previous IT experience supporting a medical office or healthcare environment preferred

 * Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office
 * Experience with networking, firewalls, Wi-Fi, and backups
 * Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus
 * Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
 * Ability to work independently and prioritize urgent issues
 * Reliable transportation and ability to come on-site when needed, * Prompt response to IT issues
 * Professional, dependable, and trustworthy
 * Ability to explain technical issues in a way that staff can understand
 * Flexible availability during normal business hours, with occasional urgent support if needed

## Description

* Troubleshoot computer hardware and software issues
 * Provide support for printers, scanners, phones, and other office equipment
 * Maintain and troubleshoot network connectivity and internet issues
 * Assist with user account setup, password resets, and workstation configuration
 * Support Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications
 * Coordinate with third-party vendors when necessary
 * Help maintain data security and HIPAA compliance
 * Install updates and new equipment as needed
 * Provide remote support when possible and on-site support when required
