What You Bring

 * Associate's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred

 * 1 year of IT support or helpdesk experience, or demonstrated IT exposure through coursework, certifications in progress, or hands-on personal projects

 * Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Server+ a plus

 * Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, including hardware, software, networks, and servers

 * Proficiency troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across common operating systems (Windows, macOS) and applications

 * Working knowledge of network protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP); experience with ERP systems a plus

 * Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, both verbal and written

 * Self-motivated, results-oriented, and dependable, with a willingness to learn valued over formal credentials

## Description

The User Support Specialist provides essential technical support across our company's locations, ensuring smooth operations and efficient use of technology. This role primarily focuses on user support but requires a solid understanding of IT infrastructure to assist with a wide range of technical issues. This position matters because reliable, responsive IT support keeps our teams productive and our operations running without interruption. The ideal candidate is a motivated problem-solver who is dependable, eager to learn, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

What You'll Own

 * Provide prompt and effective technical assistance to employees, resolving issues related to hardware, software, email, and networks

 * Configure equipment for new hires, including imaging laptops and provisioning user accounts

 * Collect, wipe, and process equipment for departing employees as part of offboarding

 * Troubleshoot and resolve computer and peripheral problems, including hardware and software malfunctions
