Preferred Qualifications * Experience with MDM (mobile device management) systems for managing Apple devices (e.g., Jamf, Apple Business Manager, Mosyle). ## Description is a campus-wide, full-service position, which provides frontline, on-site technology support to staff, students and classrooms. Working largely independently on a daily basis, this role is responsible for provisioning, deploying, and supporting end-user devices (iPads, Chromebooks, and MacBooks) in partnership with the school's remote managed service provider (MSP), and supporting classroom and event AV equipment. Success in this role depends on delivering an exceptional customer experience, strict adherence to ticketing and service-level standards, and a consistently professional, organized presence throughout the school. This is an ideal opportunity for a technology professional looking to further develop already-established technical skills in a supportive, hands-on school environment., The Level 1 Technical Support Specialist plays a critical role in supporting teaching, learning, and school operations. Key responsibilities include: * Provision, configure, deploy, and maintain end-user devices, including iPads, Chromebooks, and MacBooks, for staff and students. * Install, update, and troubleshoot software and applications across all supported device platforms. * Serve as the on-site point of contact for first-level network troubleshooting, working in close coordination with the school's remote MSP to diagnose and resolve connectivity issues. * Build and maintain working knowledge of basic networking concepts (Wi-Fi, switches, cabling, IP basics) to support MSP-directed troubleshooting. * Administer Google Workspace services and manage Chromebook fleets, including account provisioning, policy settings, and device enrollment. * Set up, operate, and troubleshoot AV equipment in classrooms, offices, and during school events (projectors, displays, microphones, video conferencing systems). * Log, update, and resolve all support requests in strict compliance with established ticketing standards and documentation practices. * Monitor personal performance against service level agreements (SLAs) and proactively flag or escalate issues before they impact users. * Deliver a consistently exceptional, courteous customer experience to students, faculty, and staff at every interaction. * Maintain a clean, organized, and professional IT workspace, storage area, and cart/device charging stations. * Track and manage device and equipment inventory, including asset tags, loaner devices, and repair status. * Manage and support the school's virtual telephone (VoIP) system, including user setup, extensions, and troubleshooting. * Assist with administration and support of the Student Information System (SIS). * Identify recurring issues and escalate trends to the IT Manager or MSP for longer-term resolution. * Support miscellaneous technical projects as assigned.
