## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
 * 3+ years of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) 12.2 administration experience
 * Strong knowledge of Oracle Database 12c/19c
 * Experience with EBS cloning, patching, upgrades, and performance tuning
 * Solid understanding of Linux/Unix environments
 * Experience with RMAN backup and recovery
 * Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
 * Experience with automation and scripting (Shell, Python, Java, etc.)
 * Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications (Plus)

 * Experience with MySQL. PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server administration
 * Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
 * Knowledge of AI technologies, Generative AI, AI-assisted operations, or AI-driven database monitoring and automation
 * Chinese (Mandarin) language proficiency for communication with global stakeholders and business users.

Requirements: Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) 12.2, Oracle Database 12c/19c, Oracle Apps DBA, EBS Cloning, Patching, Performance Tuning, RMAN Backup & Recovery, We are seeking a local Oracle EBS DBA to join our growing IT team in Sunnyvale, CA. This role is ideal for a hands-on database professional with strong Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) 12.2 administration experience who enjoys working in a global enterprise environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and optimizing Oracle EBS environments while collaborating closely with application, infrastructure, and business teams., * Administer and support Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) 12.2 environments

 * Perform Oracle Database installation, upgrades, patching, cloning, and migrations
 * Manage EBS application tier and database tier components
 * Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize database operations
 * Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
 * Support EBS patching using ADOP and online patching methodologies
 * Work closely with developers and functional teams on deployments and production support
 * Ensure system security, compliance, and high availability
 * Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
