The work arrangement may be hybrid, with remote planning and reporting combined with onsite meetings, central-office visits, network inspections, testing, and implementation support. This is an individual, contract-contingent position. It is not a solicitation for companies, vendors, or business proposals. Employment or engagement will depend on contract award, final project requirements, verification of qualifications, and execution of an appropriate individual employment or consulting agreement., The Senior Broadband ISP Program Director will provide technical, operational, regulatory, and program leadership for a potential municipal broadband initiative. The anticipated network includes approximately 113 miles of county-owned fiber, six central-office locations, a 100 Gbps core ring, XPoN infrastructure, fixed-wireless components, and residential, commercial, institutional, and government subscribers. The selected professional should have substantial experience planning, launching, operating, or overseeing municipal, utility, open-access, or commercial ISP networks.
