## Description

* Monitor mission-essential communication sites, networks, and information systems for security and operational events.
 * Review, classify, prioritize, and escalate alerts to ensure timely resolution.
 * Follow established procedures for event collection, triage, analysis, classification, and escalation.
 * Receive and document events reported through email, chat, phone, monitoring tools, and other communication systems.
 * Maintain accurate and detailed incident records, including actions taken and escalation details.
 * Collect and analyze technical information to determine whether an alert is a valid incident or a false positive.
 * Maintain established standards for triage accuracy and response times.
 * Assist with network and cybersecurity incident response and resolution activities.
 * Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to communicate incident details and recommended response actions.
 * Support the development and improvement of operational playbooks, dashboards, performance metrics, and detection strategies.
 * Perform additional duties or work alternate shifts based on operational requirements.
