We're looking for a Software Engineer to design and build highly scalable, user-facing product features across frontend and backend systems. In this role, you'll work on AI-powered, autonomous product experiences, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and AI/ML engineers to bring intelligent agents to life in production. This is a true product engineering role-you'll own features end-to-end and see your work used globally at scale. We're looking for a Software Engineer to help build Eightfold's next generation of Agentic AI product features. In this role, you'll design and implement high-impact frontend and backend product experiences used by millions of users globally. You'll work closely with Product, Design, and AI/ML teams to turn intelligent systems into intuitive, scalable, and reliable product features. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on shipping production-grade software, not research or experimentation-only work. What You'll Do * Build and ship AI-powered product features using LLMs, NLP, and agent-based workflows * Develop backend services and APIs that support model inference, orchestration, and tool execution * Implement LLM workflows, including pipelines, retrieval (RAG) systems, and goal-oriented agent behaviors * Work closely with Product Managers and Designers to turn AI-driven ideas into working features * Collaborate with ML engineers to integrate, evaluate, and productionize models * Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code * Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussion * Help improve system performance, reliability, and scalability ## Related Videos - [Watch Tests Go Brrrr! : Getting Started with Cypress in ReactJS](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/282-watch-tests-go-brrrr-getting-started-with-cypress-in-reactjs) - [Docker Compose: Rediscovered](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1978-docker-compose-rediscovered) - [MySQL Protocol Features You Should Be Aware Of](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100267-mysql-protocol-features-you-should-be-aware-of) - [Shipping Faster with Less: Render on Cloud Hosting, AI Workloads, and the Future of DevOps](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1894-shipping-faster-with-less-render-on-cloud-hosting-ai-workloads-and-the-future-of-devops) - [Docker build without Docker](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100114-docker-build-without-docker) - [Agentic employees in world's most downloaded FinTech app](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100123-agentic-employees-in-world-s-most-downloaded-fintech-app) ## Related Articles - [Navigating the AI Shift](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/629-navigating-the-ai-shift) - [MLOps And AI Driven Development](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/82-mlops-and-ai-driven-development) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline) - [Highest Paying Tech Companies for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/220-highest-paying-tech-companies-for-developers) - [What Are Large Language Models?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/304-what-are-large-language-models)
