## About the Role

* Two or more years of experience in physical security, security operations or a related field.
 * Experience with CCTV, access-control systems or security personnel management.
 * Strong communication, coordination and documentation skills.
 * Ability to work independently and respond appropriately to security incidents.
 * Ability to work on-site in Sterling, VA 20166.
 * Availability for emergency or after-hours support when required.
 * Data center, critical facility or industrial-site experience is preferred.
 * Mandarin Chinese communication ability is preferred but not required.

## Description

We are seeking a Physical Security Engineer to support daily physical security operations at a data center in Sterling, Virginia.

This role is responsible for coordinating on-site security personnel, managing access-control procedures, inspecting CCTV and other security systems, responding to security incidents, and maintaining security documentation., * Coordinate the daily operations and scheduling of on-site security personnel.

 * Manage visitor registration, identity verification and access-control procedures.
 * Monitor entrances, exits and restricted areas to prevent unauthorized access.
 * Conduct routine inspections of CCTV, access-control systems and other security equipment.
 * Identify camera blind spots, equipment failures and physical security risks.
 * Respond to unauthorized access, asset loss and other security incidents.
 * Support CCTV and access-control installation or replacement projects.
 * Maintain inspection records, incident reports and security equipment inventories.
 * Support security training, emergency drills and compliance audits.
 * Coordinate with internal teams, contractors and security service providers., * Coordinate the daily operations and scheduling of on-site security personnel.
