## About the Role

* Master's degree in any STEM related field is preferred.
 * 5+ years of data science experience, preferrably in the financial services sector.
 * Expertise in Python, SQL, AWS SageMaker, Azure and Snowflake
 * Exposure to regulatory mandates such as CCAR/ CECL is preferred.

## Description

Our client is a rapidly growing commercial bank local to the Northeast and looking to add an experienced data scientist to support their center of excellence. This individual will support product, credit, marketing and leadership functions to provide more accurate analysis of company data. This position will use large data sets to find opportunities for process optimization and revenue generation. Candidates should have experience data mining, data analytics, and putting predictive/ forecasting models into production.

Job requirements:

 * Collaborate with stakeholders across the enterprise to create and execute projects that provide data-based solutions.
 * Lead all AI/ ML modernization across all product oferings.
 * Leverage latest in predicitve analytics to enhance accuracy around credit loss forecasting, ad targetting, revenue geeration, etc.
 * Develop A/B testing framework and other tools to monitor model perfomance.
 * Determine effectiveness of new and existing data sources and mining techniques.
