preferrably in a SaaS product company environment. * Demonstrated experience leading a transition from monolithic architecture to cloud-native microservices; highly desired is experience with multi-cloud, multi-region, and multi-tenant solutions. * Proficiency in Java (primary, preferred language) and/or Go, with additional experience in Python considered a plus. * Extensive experience with solutions built to scale using Kubernetes, and clouds like AWS and/or GCP or similar. * Strong technical communication skills with the ability to articulate architectural concepts and influence engineering direction across teams, departments, and stakeholders. * Intellectual curiosity, great problem-solving skills, and a genuine passion for impactful, high-stakes assignments with vast impact on customers. * Highly desired is also proven experience leveraging agentic engineering tools and LLMs, across multiple areas of SDLC, to build better software products and accelerate development. ## Description * Dive deep into our current monolithic architecture, identify pain points, and design innovative solutions to address them in an iterative way. * Lead the design and development of a new microservices architecture that supports scalability, maintainability, and operational excellence. * Collaborate with departments and teams to evaluate and implement the right tools, frameworks, and methodologies for building a robust microservices ecosystem. * Readiness to "get your hands dirty" by developing POCs and prototypes, performing code reviews and contributing to high-quality, production-ready code (primarily in Java). * Guide and mentor other engineers, contribute to their professional growth, share best practices and architectural insights, and foster a culture of engineering excellence, collaboration, and innovation. * Partner with other engineering organizations and teams across the globe, with product, design, quality, DevOps/Infra teams and leadership to align on objectives, design timelines, and execution strategies. * Our Platform stack: Java (primary; Spring (Boot) ecosystem), Go (secondary), and Python (legacy); Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, GCP, FedRAMP; GitHub Actions, ArgoCD; GitHub Enterprise; depending on requirements of the service for communication we use Kafka, REST API, GraphQL, gRPC etc.;
