* 5+ years of experience in Data Governance or Enterprise Data Management.
 * Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Dataplex and Atlan Data Catalog.
 * Strong expertise in:
 + Data Governance Frameworks
 + Metadata Management
 + Data Lineage & Impact Analysis
 + Data Contracts
 + Data Quality Management
 + Policy Tagging & Data Classification
 + Data Stewardship
 + Regulatory Compliance & Governance Controls
 * Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Preferred Skills

 * DCAM (Data Management Capability Assessment Model) Certification.
 * DAMA CDMP Certification.
 * Experience with Collibra or other enterprise data governance/catalog platforms.
 * Knowledge of governance operating model design and enterprise knowledge catalogs.
 * Experience in telecom or other large-scale enterprise environments.
 * Exposure to cloud-based data platforms and analytics ecosystems.

## Description

We are looking for an experienced Data Governance Consultant to support enterprise data management initiatives within a telecom environment. You will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-wide data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, metadata management, data lineage, compliance, and governance across the Google Cloud ecosystem., * Design and implement enterprise Data Governance frameworks and operating models.

 * Define and monitor data quality standards, controls, and governance processes.
 * Implement metadata management, business glossary, and data catalog capabilities.
 * Establish end-to-end data lineage and impact analysis across enterprise data platforms.
 * Define and implement data contracts, governance policies, and stewardship processes.
 * Configure policy tagging, data classification, and compliance controls.
 * Drive adoption of governance practices using Google Cloud Dataplex and Atlan Data Catalog.
 * Collaborate with business, engineering, architecture, and compliance teams to ensure regulatory and security compliance.
 * Support enterprise data management and digital transformation initiatives.
