We're especially interested in candidates with Golang experience. Golang is strongly preferred, but it is not a strict requirement for an otherwise exceptional backend profile. Ownership and execution in ambiguous environments This is the most important capability for the role. We're looking for someone who can operate effectively when the path is not fully defined, take ownership of initiatives that span multiple teams, align stakeholders, create realistic plans and timelines, and drive execution through to delivery. AI-native development experience We highly value engineers who already use modern AI tools as part of their daily workflow. This includes substantial hands-on experience with tools such as Codex, Claude, and agent-driven development workflows, and a strong understanding of how to use them effectively to improve engineering productivity, speed, and quality. Strong communication and stakeholder management Success in this role requires clear and proactive communication. You should be comfortable gathering feedback, processing it thoughtfully, and facilitating alignment between the team and external stakeholders so everyone is moving in the same direction., Experience with NoSQL databases is a plus, especially technologies such as Cassandra, MongoDB, or similar systems.
