## About the Role

* Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design Engineering or a related discipline.
 * Experience using SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
 * Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and Design for Manufacture principles.
 * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
 * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
 * Strong communication and organisational skills.

## Description

As a Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of bespoke engineering products and projects from concept through to manufacture.Key responsibilities will include:

 * Producing detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
 * Developing innovative design solutions to meet customer and project requirements.
 * Supporting projects from initial concept through design, testing and production.
 * Liaising with manufacturing, procurement and project teams to ensure designs are efficient and cost-effective.
 * Undertaking design modifications and continuous improvement activities.
 * Ensuring compliance with relevant engineering standards and specifications.
 * Providing technical support throughout the manufacturing and installation processes.
