## About the Role

* Minimum of 7 years' hands-on experience in cloud, infrastructure support, and enterprise networking.
 * Strong technical expertise across:
 + Azure Cloud, including Azure Active Directory and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
 + Azure IaaS and PaaS services
 + Windows Server
 + Active Directory
 + Microsoft 365
 + Firewall technologies (strong knowledge of SD-WAN, Meraki, and Palo Alto)
 + VMware and other virtualisation platforms
 + Enterprise-scale networking and server environments (300-400 users/servers)
 * Able to provide specific, evidenced examples of Azure experience during interview.
 * Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues independently.
 * Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.

We're looking for an experienced 3rd / 4th Line Infrastructure Engineer to join a small, highly capable team of three engineers who work collaboratively, share responsibilities, and take pride in maintaining a robust, secure, and reliable infrastructure environment.

This is a hands-on role where you'll split your time between resolving complex operational issues and supporting the ongoing development of a modern, cloud-first infrastructure. If you enjoy working across a broad technical estate and thrive in a collaborative environment, this could be the perfect opportunity.
Key Responsibilities

 * Provide support across a broad range of 3rd and 4th line infrastructure and networking activities.
 * Resolve complex technical operational issues, including:
 + Print server queue issues
 + Basic networking and hardware troubleshooting
 + Advanced troubleshooting within Azure
 + Advanced firewall troubleshooting
 * Support and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure, including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
 * Ensure mission-critical systems remain stable, secure, and performant.
 * Work across Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and virtualised environments.
 * Support enterprise networking, SD-WAN technologies, and firewall infrastructure.
 * Contribute to infrastructure improvements and ongoing technical projects.
 * Work collaboratively within a close-knit infrastructure team to deliver a high-quality internal IT service.
