## About the Role

We're looking for someone with experience of most of the following:

 * SQL Server
 * T-SQL
 * Stored Procedures
 * Microsoft Access
 * VBA
 * C#
 * Desktop or business application development
 * User interface, forms or front-end development
 * Working with internal business systems
 * Application support and maintenance

Experience with reporting technologies such as SSRS would be beneficial.

## Description

We're looking for a SQL Developer to join a well-established recruitment organisation where you'll play a key role in developing, enhancing and supporting critical business applications used across the company.
This isn't a data engineering or BI role.
Instead, you'll work across both the SQL Server back end and the user-facing application layer, maintaining and improving internally developed business systems that support day-to-day operations.
The Role
Working as part of a small IT Team, you'll be involved in:

 * Developing and enhancing SQL Server databases, stored procedures and T-SQL code
 * Maintaining and improving Microsoft Access applications
 * Developing user interfaces, forms and reports using Access and VBA
 * Enhancing C# applications that integrate with SQL Server
 * Working directly with users to understand requirements and deliver practical solutions
 * Troubleshooting issues and providing ongoing application support
 * Improving existing systems while contributing to future development projects

This is a hands-on development role where you'll spend most of your time writing code and delivering enhancements to business-critical systems., * SQL Developer

 * Software Developer
 * Access Developer

You'll enjoy solving problems, working closely with users and taking ownership of business applications from database through to front-end functionality.
This role would particularly suit someone who enjoys developing and enhancing business systems rather than focusing solely on BI, reporting or data engineering.
