\nWe are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Virtual Infrastructure Engineer with experience in testing, building, managing, and engineering solutions for data protection with Rubrik in Windows Server-based enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will be an analytical problem solver who is comfortable with complex technical challenges in both client and server environments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced enterprise IT environment and is looked to as a "go-to" resource for troubleshooting and optimization.\n, * 6+ years of experience designing, configuring and maintaining VMware environments to ensure availability, reliability, and performance
\n

 * 6+ years of experience installing, configuring, and managing VMware vSphere, v Center , and vSAN
\n

 * 2+ years of experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and tool develop ment
\n

 * Experience with network and storage virtualization such as vSAN or NSX
\n

 * Experience working in cross-functional and matrixed teams
\n

 * Secret clearance
\n

 * HS diploma or GED
\n

 * Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.11 IAT Level II Certification such as CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, or SSCP Certification within 30 days of hire date
\n

## Description

* Architect, configure, and maintain VMware cloud foundation (VCF) to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance across virtualized systems.
\n

 * Deploy, configure, and manage core VMware technologies such as vSphere, v Center , vSAN, NSX, and other related products.
\n

 * Work collaboratively with IT team members to troubleshoot, resolve, and prevent issues within the virtualization environment.
\n

 * Create, update, and maintain comprehensive documentation for virtualization infrastructure, including system configurations and procedures.
\n

 * Design and implement disa ster recovery and business continuity strategies to ensure data integrity and system resilience.
\n

 * Plan, test, and execute upgrades and patching for VMware infrastructure to maintain security and performance.
\n

 * Continuously monitor virtual infrastructure health, proactively identifying areas for tuning and performance enhancement.
\n
