This is a mostly remote role - the Manager is onsite in Tulsa roughly once a week, and you'll have the flexibility to work remotely from Tulsa, OK, or Tempe/Phoenix, AZ. That flexibility comes with real accountability: you'll own the environment day to day, with the Manager acting as a secondary DBA and organizational point of contact rather than someone directing your daily work. This is a great fit for someone who wants genuine technical ownership without a lot of management overhead - you're trusted to run the environment, make the calls, and be the expert in the room. Your judgment drives the work. * Meaty technical environment. The core production system is a two-node Oracle RAC cluster with a Data Guard standby - this isn't a single-instance shop. The Manager is a working DBA too - someone to bounce ideas off of, not someone reviewing every move. * Room to build, not just maintain.
