## About the Role

****This position requires an active DoD Clearance (Secret, Top Secret, Top Secret/SCI) or the ability to be obtain an (Interim Secret, Interim Top Secret)****, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

 * Strong experience developing embedded software using C++ and Embedded C.
 * Experience designing software for embedded and real-time systems.
 * Strong understanding of software development principles and lifecycle methodologies.
 * Experience developing multi-threaded applications.
 * Knowledge of operating systems and microprocessor architecture.
 * Experience collaborating across software, hardware, and firmware disciplines.
 * Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
 * U.S. Citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications

 * Experience with product testing and validation.
 * Hardware verification experience.
 * Device driver development experience.
 * Familiarity with configuration management tools.
 * Experience with Python development.

What You'll Do

 * Design and develop software for real-time and time-critical embedded systems.
 * Create high-performance software for positioning, navigation, timing, and signal-processing applications.
 * Develop solutions for embedded and resource-constrained hardware environments.
 * Architect and implement modular, maintainable software solutions.
 * Collaborate closely with hardware, firmware, systems, and test engineering teams.
 * Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and verification.
 * Optimize multi-threaded applications for performance and reliability.
 * Support software quality, certification, and compliance activities.
 * Contribute to structured development methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and Iterative/Spiral development processes.
