In this role you will support new product development of ALD, PVD, and PECVD coatings and manufacturing scale-up activities through a combination of applications engineering and mechanical design engineering. You will work closely with R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to develop coating applications, optimize manufacturing processes, and design tooling and fixturing solutions that improve product performance, manufacturability, and operational efficiency. What You'll Do * Support the development, qualification, and implementation of new coating applications, process capabilities, and manufacturing solutions. * Assist with process development, optimization, troubleshooting, and transfer of new products and technologies into manufacturing. * Design, develop, fabricate, and qualify fixtures, tooling, assemblies, and supporting hardware for product development and manufacturing applications using SolidWorks. * Create and maintain engineering drawings, specifications, BOMs, work instructions, and engineering change documentation. * Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Operations, Safety teams to improve manufacturability, process capability, product quality, and manufacturing readiness. * Support prototyping, testing, and validation activities for new products, processes, and design concepts. * Participate in root-cause investigations and continuous improvement activities to address technical and manufacturing challenges. * Support equipment, tooling, and process modifications required to meet product development and manufacturing objectives. * Work with suppliers and vendors to develop components, fixtures, and technical solutions that support engineering and manufacturing activities. * Ensure compliance with company systems and processes including SAP, ETQ, EPDM, Accolade, and applicable quality requirements., Not everyone who works for a global company shares the same background, experiences and perspectives.
