Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of personnel.

## Description

To provide assistance in the installation, repair, and maintenance of the computer and communications networks throughout the Muscle Shoals City School System., * Perform preventative maintenance on computers, servers, network equipment, software and peripherals.

 * Repair and install computers, servers, network equipment, software, and peripherals.
 * Maintain current knowledge of all instructional technology used in the school system.
 * Aid teachers and administrators in the proper operation of computer based equipment.
 * Provide hardware and software training of school staff.
 * Maintain work orders and job related documentation.
 * Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, administrators, and others.
 * Ensure adherence to good safety standards.
 * Participate successfully in the training programs offered to increase skill and proficiency related to assignment.
 * Respond to inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
 * Perform other tasks and assume other responsibilities as may be assigned by higher authority.
