## About the Role

* Junior DS Engineer - 2+ years, Secret or clearable
 * Senior DS Engineer - 5+ years, Secret or clearable
 * DS Lead CEL Engineer - 5-7 years, telecommunications rooms/MDF/IDF, Secret or clearable
 * DS Lead Engineer - 10+ years, multi-discipline team leadership, Secret or clearable, * 2+ years of experience in communications, cabling, or physical network infrastructure (or a relevant engineering degree)
 * Familiarity with ISP/OSP design and implementation documents - as-builts, rack elevations, circuit matrices
 * Working knowledge of fiber testing and wired/general IT functions
 * Security+ CE preferred
 * BICSI certification a plus
 * Must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the Honolulu area independently - no relocation assistance provided

## Description

* Rack and stack network equipment; install and activate UPS/PDUs, APs, patch panels, and CAT-6 cabling
 * Support ISP/OSP field activities and contribute technical input for design recommendations
 * Document fieldwork findings and update as-built records and circuit connectivity matrices
 * Assist with equipment assessments and provide preliminary observations for senior review
 * Coordinate site access and schedule alignment with Government POCs as directed
 * Prepare basic project documentation, reports, and updates under guidance from senior team members
 * Update network documentation and as-built records based on splicing and testing results
 * Assist with planning activities by gathering data and providing initial workload estimates
 * Contribute to deliverable development by preparing drafts or collecting required information
 * Follow quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy in project outputs
 * Work collaboratively as part of a small implementation team
