## About the Role

* Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related discipline is required
 * Minimum of 3+ years of Design Engineering experience within a manufacturing facility is required
 * Must have experience leading products through concept, prototyping, testing, and commercialization
 * Must have experience with CAD design, engineering documentation, and quality systems
 * Ideal candidates will have experience within highly regulated environments
 * Experience collaborating with global engineering, manufacturing, or supply chain teams is preferred
 * Strong project ownership and cross-functional leadership abilities are preferred
 * Excellent written communication and technical documentation skills are preferred
 * Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills are preferred
 * ***Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.***

## Description

* Lead product development projects from concept through commercial launch
 * Create engineering designs and detailed CAD models for new products
 * Develop and refine prototypes to evaluate performance and functionality
 * Support research, development, and continuous product improvement initiatives
 * Design verification and validation test plans and protocols
 * Analyze testing data and recommend product enhancements
 * Generate and maintain quality documentation and technical records
 * Create engineering procedures, work instructions, and standardized processes
 * Support design reviews, risk assessments, and cross-functional project meetings
 * Ensure product designs support manufacturability and efficient production processes
 * Prepare engineering documentation for product transfer into production
 * Collaborate with quality, operations, and supply chain teams throughout development
 * Support intellectual property activities, invention disclosures, and patent documentation
 * Coordinate with domestic and international engineering resources on development projects
 * Communicate project status, risks, and technical findings to multi-disciplinary teams
