In our Dresden Research Center, we are working on making Rust a first-class citizen in the OpenHarmony Ecosystem. Rust is already successfully used in several core OpenHarmony system components. Now we need your help to lay the foundations for third-party developers to seamlessly support OpenHarmony devices in their cross-platform applications and libraries. Your mission: * Integrate OpenHarmony support into key Rust crates providing cross-platform abstractions, allowing applications to seamlessly support OpenHamony * Analyze and integrate a high-performance, cross-platform Rust UI framework into the OpenHarmony ecosystem * Contribute to developing a next-generation web rendering engine written in Rust, with many different challenging opportunities including developing new algorithms to improve the concurrency and performance, integration as a webview into OpenHarmony apps * Investigate optimization opportunities for OpenHarmony devices running on the HongMeng kernel * Actively collaborate with internal stakeholders as well as the Rust and the OpenHarmony community, * To keep your development ongoing, you will find a broad range of training opportunities.
