## About the Role

* Advanced Tableau (with certifications and/or willingness to complete formal training a plus)
 * Demonstrate understanding and application of best practices and methodologies, or equivalent, such as:

 * Report Design and Data visualization
 * Experience in performance optimization, system tuning and design and build best practices
 * If necessary, be able to craft SQL queries for Data Profiling/ETL/ELT

 * Commitment to staying up to date on the latest developments in the Tableau ecosystem.
 * Excellent communication and collaboration skills
 * Experience working in Agile/Scrum projects
 * Prior experience with Snowflake is a plus
 * Knowledge in advanced analysis with Python or R is an advantage
 * Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative; comfortable working in a demanding fast- paced environment
 * Ability to multitask within tight deadlines
 * Third level degree, post graduate qualification or equivalent in Business, Finance, STEM or Data Analytics
 * A minimum of 3+ years, of working in data and business intelligence
 * Highly proficient in business intelligence tools such as Tableau, PowerBI
 * Understanding of Big data and data cloud-solutions, preferably Azure and Snowflake
 * Working outside office hours should not be a problem, since working with a distributed team
 * Experience working in a multinational environment is a bonus
 * Fluent in English

## Description

* Help to build cutting edge analytics capabilities for strategic data at CRH
 * Engage collaboratively with Business Analysts and stakeholders to identify and refine business requirements and turn them into sophisticated and fine-tuned Tableau-based solutions
 * Create and deliver advanced Tableau visualizations, reports, dashboards
 * Perform testing, engage in data analysis and quality assurance, data modelling, and data profiling
 * Collaborate with the Backend team, Data Architect on data modelling and data warehouse design considerations
 * Utilize SQL for Data Analytics and Snowflake
 * Uphold standards for data integrity, consistency, and security
 * Actively contribute to the enhancement and application of visualization design principles and standards
