This position will support the Core Foundations Team. Responsibilities: * Formulate / define solution scope and objectives based on user needs. Devise / modify solutions to solve highly complex problems considering technical environment and business needs. * Prepare detailed specifications from which applications may be configured, tables built, scripts or programs written. * Analyze and revise existing system logic difficulties and document as necessary. * Build and maintain application integration points. * Lead application software version upgrades and modifications. * Assist in establishing systems analysis, programming, and computer operations priorities in order to provide effective service to all application users. * Responsible for quality control and auditing of databases to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data. Work directly with users of data to resolve data conflicts and inappropriate data usage. * Oversees a small project or phases of a larger project. Responsible for coordinating activities of project team, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of project. * Document specifications including job flows and data flows. * Develop and maintain deep understanding (application and technical environment) of products in order to effectively support customers, * Work with Vendors to design and code enhancements to applications. * Act as customer advocate with Vendor development. * Identify opportunities for effectively satisfying enterprise information needs through automation. * Provide reports, information, and data files. * Other duties/projects as assigned. ## Related Videos - [Grappling With Clunky Old Software?
