 * Strong expertise in Payments, Merchant Services, Payment Gateways, or high-volume transaction processing systems.
 * Deep knowledge of Cloud Architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP), cloud-native design patterns, and container-based platforms.
 * Experience designing and governing API, Microservices, and Event-Driven Architectures.
 * Strong understanding of Security Architecture, authentication, authorization, encryption, and risk management principles.
 * Expertise with System Integration, third-party vendor connectivity, and enterprise service platforms.
 * Experience with High Availability, disaster recovery, observability, performance engineering, and reliability practices.
 * Excellent Technical Leadership, stakeholder management, solution consulting, and architecture governance skills.

U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Technology Architect with strategic analysis and enterprise-wide technology experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives., * Lead the architecture, design, and governance of enterprise payment, gateway, and digital transaction platforms.

 * Develop scalable solution architectures supporting cloud modernization, API-first strategies, and distributed systems.
 * Define architecture standards, technology roadmaps, reference architectures, and engineering best practices.
 * Partner with business, product, security, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
 * Provide technical leadership for complex integrations across internal platforms, third-party vendors, fintech partners, and payment networks.
 * Drive application resiliency, high availability, performance optimization, and operational excellence across critical systems.
 * Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions that improve scalability, automation, security, and customer experience.
 * Mentor engineers and architects while influencing strategic technology decisions across multiple portfolios and initiatives.
