## About the Role

MissionEdge is seeking an experienced Java Software Engineer to join a small, mission-focused team developing and supporting mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Java, Git, Gradle, Guice/Dependency Injection, Docker, REST APIs, and Linux. Experience with ELK Stack, MongoDB, Ansible, and Kubernetes is highly desired. Familiarity with Angular and TypeScript is a plus, with opportunities to contribute to limited front-end development.

Candidates should be comfortable working in customer environments and collaborating within an agile, mission-driven team.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

 * Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access; U.S. Citizenship is required.
 * Active TS/SCI w/ polygraph.
 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or four additional years of relevant software engineering experience in lieu of a degree).
 * Level 2: 14+ years of software engineering experience on programs of similar scope and complexity.
 * Level 3: 20+ years of software engineering experience on programs of similar scope and complexity., May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday., Successful Completion of a Background Screening/Check/Investigation will be required as a condition of hire.
