Equivalent practical experience considered. ## Description The Testing and Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions that ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications and services. This role focuses on increasing test coverage through automation, reducing manual effort, and supporting consistent, high-quality delivery across the software development lifecycle. The Testing and Automation Engineer partners closely with Software Engineers, Product, and DevOps teams to embed quality early and continuously., * Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for UI, API, and backend services. Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests across applications and platforms. \n * Partner with Software Engineers and Product teams to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria. Participate in sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives. \n * Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks and tooling. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing. \n * Identify, document, and track defects through resolution. Perform basic root-cause analysis and partner with engineering teams on fixes. \n * Design and execute performance, load, and stress tests across applications and services. Utilize performance engineering tooling (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, k6, Locust). \n * Leverage AI-assisted tools for test case , test data creation, and test coverage analysis.
