Consideration for Top Candidates: * Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science; advanced degree preferred * Strong expertise in embedded C/C++ development in RTOS environments * Proven experience in software architecture and embedded/autonomy systems * Deep knowledge of AUTOSAR (Classic preferred), including BSW and RTE * Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and structured methodologies * Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills * Experience with modeling tools (MATLAB/Simulink) in embedded environments * Experience with vehicle/machine networks (CAN, Ethernet) * Proficiency with development tools (GIT, debuggers, cross-compilers) * Ability to collaborate with and lead distributed engineering teams ## Description This position is for an Autonomy Engineering Development Specialist working in a Software Architect role for Remote Control section within Integrated Technology Solutions within Cat Technology. The individual hired for this position will work as part of an engineering team to design, develop, integrate, and test robust, scalable features on embedded electronic control systems for use in remote-controlled machine applications.
