## About the Role

* Bachelors with 5+ years of relevant experience or Master's with 3+ years of experience within one of the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field.
 * Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions.
 * Strong verbal and written communications
 * Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast paced, changing environment.
 * Familiarity with requirements management.

It would be a plus if you also possess:

 * Medical regulated experience or experience in a regulated environment
 * Experience utilizing software log files to investigate failures
 * Experience troubleshooting technical issues
 * Experience working with system requirements and dFMEAs
 * Experience working in a scrum/agile team or similar environment

Travel:

 * Up to 10% global travel required

## Description

In the role of Senior Systems Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, you will have the opportunity to:

 * Work with fluidics, pneumatics, electrical motors, pressure sensors and vision systems on a software controlled medical diagnostic analyzer.
 * Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple product teams to define, manage and test system requirements.
 * Understand customer workflows and support hardware and software changes to make product usability and reliability improvements.
 * Work with cross-functional teams to quickly investigate and identify solutions for new product issues at customer sites.
 * Facilitate design FMEAs and use error analysis to drive system design quality.
