## About the Role

* College degree in the area of Education or Management Information Systems preferred
 * High School Diploma

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 * Knowledge of school processes such as registration, grade reporting, attendance,

scheduling, discipline, and other areas relevant to the Ascender and Portal applications.

 * Knowledge of PEIMS and any Local, State, and Federal reporting requirements
 * Perform assignments without continuous supervision
 * Ability to establish and maintain rapport between schools and Region 6 ESC personnel
 * Capable of working closely, and completing tasks, with co-workers
 * Ability to collaborate with schools and Region 6 ESC personnel
 * Ability to work with all facets of data processing
 * Excellent organization, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
 * Possesses a positive attitude and work ethic
 * Demonstrates responsibility and dependability
 * Employs acceptable listening, researching, and timely response techniques to clients and co-workers
 * Demonstrates the ability to perform the assigned responsibilities

Experience:

 * Experience in public education and school processes
 * Experience analyzing and resolving problems
 * Experience meeting deadlines and completing tasks under pressure
 * Experience using the Ascender and/or Portal applications preferred

## Description

* Assist in the formulation and delivery of student support services to schools
 * Provide support in the areas of school processes and local, state, and federal reporting
 * Compose training material and conduct training/workshops
 * Analyze computer and software-related issues
 * Maintain a professional level of confidentiality regarding Region 6 ESC matters
 * Provide contracted services to schools
 * Perform other duties as assigned
