The Senior Data Center Electric Pricing Analyst position is an exciting opportunity to shape the direction of California energy policy at the innovative intersection of electric industry pricing strategy and technological growth. This leadership role will involve the management of complex proceedings, projects and programs for designing and implementing pricing structures that promote electrification, decarbonization, and customer equity, including the prudent interconnection of data centers. Moreover, this position will entail advisory support of Administrative Law Judges, Commissioners, and other key decision-makers. The successful candidate will embrace the tightrope act of developing advanced rates that incentivize more efficient grid utilization, continued clean energy development and aggressive customer protections amid the pressures of rapid technological innovation.
Your STD 678 (application form) will be used to determine your qualifications in order to meet the minimum qualification requirements for the advertised classification(s). Please clearly describe all of your experience related to public utilities and/or transportation in the areas of economics, finance, or policy in the job description field(s) of your STD 678 form, along with the years and months of service. Failure to do so may result in not qualifying for the minimum qualifications for the advertised classification(s).
The SOQ should provide specific details and examples that clearly demonstrate your qualifications. SOQs will be evaluated based on the content and writing ability, using standardized rating criteria. Competitive applicants will be invited to attend an interview. Applicants who do not submit a completed SOQ will not be considered.
