This may include, but is not limited to, Disney Channel, Freeform, FX, National Geographic, ABC Television Network and owned ABC Television Stations. Operators are the gate keepers of our operation to assure all business needs are being met while protecting our high standard of quality and content being released to the public. In all, the mission is to execute and support our network operations while ensuring technical quality and creative vision are maintained. Your primary responsibility will be to provide direct control, oversight and support of our operation while maintaining close collaboration with internal teams such as Programming, Production, Transmission, and Traffic. A successful candidate must be able to maintain a high-level attention to detail, often for extended periods of time, across several linear video streams. Ability to prioritize tasks will be critical as you monitor and validate signal components for on-air products, perform broadcast quality control (QC) for technical anomalies, and ensuring components are airing as scheduled. In this role, you will work rotational shifts to support 24 hour / 7 day a week operation. You will gain skills in various operational areas and enhance knowledge in the use of all broadcast equipment and technology. Your strong communication skills, both written and verbal, will allow you to express technical and operational issues clearly to technical support, engineering, and management.
