## About the Role

Do you have experience in Sheet metal?, * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering or related field

 * Minimum 10 years of industry experience
 * Minimum 15,000 hours in CATIA V5 ( 8 years; ideal 8-10 years)
 * Required CATIA V5 Workbenches:
 * Assembly Design
 * Part Design (Boolean Operations)
 * Aerospace Sheetmetal
 * Tubing Design
 * Nice to have:
 * Kinematics
 * Electrical Harness Routing
 * Siemens NX and/or Teamcenter PLM
 * Experience in Special Missions or Aftermarket modifications (required)
 * Experience supporting manufacturing and aircraft modifications (required)
 * Prior experience leading a team of engineers
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 * Highly motivated, self-starter with strong ownership of deliverables
 * Proficient with MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
 * Any additional aircraft or manufacturing experience is a plus

## Description

We're seeking multiple Senior Design Engineers to support missionized aircraft programs. This role is full-scope design engineering with exposure to MRB, manufacturing support, and aftermarket/special missions modifications. You will play a key role in resolving build issues, developing engineering solutions, and authoring structural and systems installations for special mission aircraft.

What You'll Contribute

 * Investigate design/build issues and develop structural engineering and instrumentation installation solutions
 * Author temporary engineering to resolve build issues quickly and effectively
 * Disposition aircraft non-conformances, including rework instructions (MRB)
 * Perform drawing investigations and coordinate with Quality, Operations, and other engineering disciplines
 * Design Flight Test engineering change requests and collaborate with work package owners
 * Author engineering defining structural special instructions or restrictions
 * Design and release Special Missions Engineering structural and systems installations
