## About the Role

* Proven expertise in Microsoft Sentinel and the Microsoft Defender family of products
 * Experience as a SOC analyst or in incident handling
 * Strong understanding of the incident response lifecycle, from detection through triage to containment and remediation
 * Proficiency in KQL for log analysis and detection engineering; PowerShell or Python is considered a plus
 * Solid understanding of common attack techniques and the MITRE ATT&CK framework
 * Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
 * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
 * Ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams
 * Comfortable working in a 24/7 SOC environment, including participation in on-call or shift rotations
 * Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and regulatory requirements including NIS2 and ISO27001
