Roles and Responsibility Manage and maintain IDMS schemas, subschemas, areas, sets, records, and database definitions.Support application development teams with database design, query optimization, and change implementation.Perform database performance tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning.Troubleshoot production issues, analyze root causes, and implement permanent fixes.Execute database reorganization, backup, recovery, and migration activities.Review and implement database changes through release management processes.Ensure database security, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards.Prepare technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.Coordinate with mainframe operations teams for batch jobs and system upgrades.Participate in on-call support and incident management as required.
