The RoleThe Salesforce Senior Technical Developer / Technical Lead will be responsible for leading the design, development, integration, and implementation of enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud within HMRC's highly regulated environment.
The individual will provide technical leadership to development teams, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions that align with HMRC governance, security, accessibility, and compliance requirements.
Primary ObjectivesLead end-to-end Salesforce solution development and delivery.Design and develop scalable applications using Salesforce best practices.Provide technical leadership and mentoring to Salesforce developers.Build and support citizen-facing and partner-facing Experience Cloud portals.Ensure compliance with HMRC security, data protection, and accessibility standards.Design and implement integrations with internal and third-party systems.Drive DevOps, CI/CD, code quality, and release management practices.Support architectural decisions and contribute to solution design workshops.
