As a Senior Research Engineer with a focus on Quantum Error Correction (QEC), you will be at the forefront of efforts to bring quantum computing from research to practical reality. You will conduct cutting-edge research in QEC, develop and extend quantum circuit compilation and simulation tools, influence HPC-QC architectural decisions, and publish your findings. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, researchers, and product managers to build usable, efficient, and innovative systems that combine quantum computing and high-performance computing., * Evaluate and develop improvements to quantum error correction strategies, algorithms, and software to enable practical execution of applications on quantum hardware * Develop software components to handle QEC details in quantum circuit compilation, emulation/simulation, and resource estimation * Develop or integrate real-time decoder technologies into HPE's HPC-QC software stack * Contribute to HPC-QC architecture decisions with detailed knowledge of quantum error correction strategies * Create and demonstrate novel quantum error correction components and describe these in publications and presentations * Extend open-source software and improve quantum circuit compilation and simulation capabilities * Demonstrate workflow strategies for applications that combine high performance and quantum computing, and participate in standardization of key interfaces ## Related Videos - [Photonic Computing: Programming a New Class of AI Accelerators (incl.
