In this role, you will collaborate directly with a state agency to maintain and enhance its online Unemployment software and modernize its Disability Insurance software., As a COBOL Mainframe Application Developer, you will work directly with the Department of Labor client personnel as a consultant to support development on their existing Unemployment and Disability Insurance software system. You will create and use programming specs to build assigned components, ensuring these components are properly documented, unit tested, and ready for integration. You will fix defects found during pre- and post-production and provide work estimates for development tasks.
