## About the Role

This isn't a management role. My client is looking for an experienced DBA who enjoys solving complex production issues and keeping critical SQL Server environments performing at their best.

What they're looking for:

 * Strong Production SQL Server Administration experience
 * Performance tuning and troubleshooting expertise
 * High Availability & Disaster Recovery experience
 * Always On Availability Groups (a real priority for the hiring manager)
 * Experience supporting large, business-critical SQL Server estates
 * Azure SQL exposure would be beneficial, but it's not essential
