## About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer ready to lead in designing & securing enterprise-scale infrastructure that underpins frontline NHS services.

You will lead the support, design and continual improvement of core network infrastructure across the Trust. This is a hands-on senior technical role within a specialist team, where you will be the subject matter expert for networking, connectivity & firewall security.

You will bring extensive 3rd and 4th line experience across LAN/WAN, MPLS, firewalls, routing and switching, along with knowledge of Azure networking. There is split of 70/30 between project delivery & business-as-usual support, providing the opportunity to influence future network design while maintaining resilient and secure services for critical clinical systems.

The "must haves" for this role:

 * CCNA, CCNP (or equivalent networking certification/experience)

 * Extensive 3rd/4th line network engineering experience in a complex, multi-site environment

 * Ability to work full-time on-site across Berkshire

 * A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work
