## About the Role

* Active SC Clearance is mandatory.
 * Extensive experience delivering DevOps and platform engineering solutions within AWS environments.
 * Strong expertise across AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda and ECS/EKS.
 * Significant Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
 * Proven experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines.
 * Strong Docker and Kubernetes experience within production environments.
 * Scripting experience using Python and/or Bash.
 * Strong understanding of Git and modern software delivery practices.
 * Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers.
 * Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
 * Experience working in Agile, multidisciplinary environments.
 * Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and decision-making abilities.

## Description

* Lead the design and implementation of AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
 * Define cloud platform standards, architecture principles and best practices.
 * Build secure, resilient and scalable cloud-native environments.
 * Drive Infrastructure as Code adoption and platform automation initiatives.
 * Lead the development and optimisation of CI/CD pipelines across multiple teams.
 * Improve platform observability through monitoring, logging and alerting solutions.
 * Oversee Kubernetes and Docker-based platform implementations.
 * Ensure environments meet security, governance and operational compliance requirements.
 * Provide technical leadership, mentoring and coaching to DevOps engineers.
 * Contribute to cloud strategy, architecture discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
 * Collaborate with senior stakeholders to deliver complex cloud transformation solutions.
