Fachinformatiker der Fachrichtung Systemintegration sind für die Planung und die Konfiguration von IT-Systemen verantwortlich. Dazu gehört das Installieren und Einrichten von Hardwarekomponenten, Betriebssystemen und Netzwerken entsprechend den Kundenanforderungen. Bei auftretenden Störungen sind sie mit modernen Diagnosesystemen zur Stelle und helfen den Nutzern bei Anwendungsproblemen.
