Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # IT Continuity Disaster Recovery Specialist/Business Continuity Planner - **Company:** INDOTRONIX AVANI UK, LTD - **Location:** Milton Keynes, UK - **Contract:** Temporary contract - **Skills:** Cyber Security, Disaster Recovery, PRINCE2 - **Published:** August 6, 2026 - **Apply:** https://www.careerboard.com/pt/en/find-jobs-in-United-Kingdom/-DFC576D4FB7D3A1AD7/ ## About the Role * Membership of a relevant professional institute (eg AMBCI) * ISO22301 Lead Auditor qualified * Proven experience in one or more resilience disciplines (eg Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Incident Management and Emergency Planning) * Knowledge and experience in a range of technologies/tools for Continuity planning and execution. * Demonstrable knowledge of resilience standards, legislation and best practice * Able to set individual goals, objectives and priorities, and balance these with challenging deadlines in a fast-moving environment that is dynamic, safety-oriented and technology-dependent * A proven communicator with influential, persuasive and negotiation skills across all levels in the organisation., * Educated to post-graduate level or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience of competencies * An interest or experience in the UK and international Rail or ICT sectors or comparable technology-dependent sector * Qualified in a relevant service framework (eg ITIL) * Good understanding of Information Security principles and policies (eg ISO27001) * Relevant OGC Qualification (MOR, MSP or PRINCE) ## Description * Execution and monitoring of Resilience strategies and processes, utilising KPIs to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of these and create a culture of continuous improvement. * Subject Matter Specialist for the provision of advice to the function's leadership team to provide awareness and an ability to manage and respond to risks. * Delivery of Resilience activities for the function including development, maintenance and continuous improvement of processes to manage Business Impact Analyses and Contingency Plans;
